Style Guide

General Information

This is a style guide released to licensees and merchandisers to help them coordinate product design for the series. It's a metallic binder with five sections inside, including program introduction, brand identification, product applications, design elements, and character art. Turner also produced a Jonny Quest Digital Style Guide.

You can download the entire scanned style guide Style Guide. Because of the printing process or merchandiser usage, some of the black, color art pages have slight white nicks in the texture.

An awe inspiring action adventure
about an ordinary boy caught up
in extraordinary circumstances, the
Real Adventures of Jonny Quest
are reminiscent of the stories of
Jules Verne, Ray Bradbury, and
Michael Crichton.

Exotic locales and uncompromising climates set the stage for the
characters of the Real Jonny Quest. Jonny, the adventure seeking,
risk taking teenager is joined by his father, Dr. Benton Quest; his
philosophical Indian friend Hadji Bingh; that ageless man of
action, Race Bannon; Jessie, Race's quick thinking daughter; and
the ever loyal masked bulldog, Bandit, as he journeys into worlds
unimagined, chasing adventures only dreamed of.

with patches of razor sharp ice,
Jonny holds onto the remains of a
rotting piece of rope.

As he looks into the sun, a silhouette appears over the
bridge railing. A muscular arm reaches down to pull Jonny
from impending doom. The moment Jonny spies the "JQ"
insignia on the back of the leather-gloved hand, he lets out
a sigh of relief. He's saved.

The Jonny Quest Brand ID is as important to
this property as Bandit is to Jonny. This
universal symbol is the telltale sign of Jonny
Quest authenticity.

Copyright, Trademark and Logo Rules

The Cartoon Network® and Jonny Quest logos must appear prominently on
all licensed merchandise, as well as advertising or promotional materials. The
names and likenesses of all Jonny Quest characters, artowrk and distinctive
lettering are protected under the copyrighted and trademark laws of the United
States and international countries. Orbit City Art Company, a division of
Turner Home Entertainment must approve all usage of character likenesses,
names, slogans and lettering. They and the Jonny Quest logo are trademarks,
and should not be distorted in any way.

A copyright notice must appear on all icensed merchandise, as well as any
packaging, advertising, or promotional materials.

Trademark

The appropriate trademark symbol, either a ™, ℠
or ®, must be displayed when appropriate. Due to the
variations in registrations from country to country, Orbit
City Art Company must be contacted to determine the
appropriate trademark symbol for each instance.

Cartoon Network Logo

The logo must always be reproduced from a digital file or logo sheet. It should never

be produced from photocopies or second or third generations of the logo.

The logo must always appear in black and white.
Letters must always remain stacked.
Never separate the letters from one another.
Always use the type style designated (correct type face is Eagle Bold)
Letters always remain within their black and white boxes.
Letter placement within the blocks remain the same.
A ® registration mark must always appear at the lower right hand corner of the logo.

resolution digital format. Please contact your licensing coordinator
to place an order. If you are unsure as to who your coordinator is,
please contact your account representative and they can direct you
to the appropriate person.

Submission Information

Any usage of a Jonny Quest® character, name or likeness must be approved
in writing ina dvance by Orbit City Art Company.
